Exhibition stall design in Mumbai, from brief to show floor.

A useful exhibition stall gives the right visitor a reason to enter and your team a clear place to talk. Lumian Studio plans custom exhibition spaces from its Goregaon West, Mumbai studio, bringing design, fabrication, graphics and show-site coordination into one project process.

01

Start with the visitor and the allotted space

Your stall plan is more than its area. The position of open sides, neighbouring stalls, visitor approaches and the product you want to demonstrate all shape the layout. Share the organiser’s floor plan, stall number and exhibitor manual before a concept is approved. A visually impressive entrance is useful only when people can understand what you offer and comfortably step inside.

Choose a primary objective: a product demonstration, distributor conversation, launch or scheduled buyer meeting. We use that objective to arrange reception, product displays, conversation areas and storage. A small stall may need a simple open plan; a larger pavilion may benefit from distinct zones with one clear story connecting them.

02

Review the concept from every aisle

Our interactive 3D studio lets you explore original concepts and compare how different footprints work. The Frame Pavilion and Ribbon Pavilion shown on the website are design concepts, not case studies or records of completed client installations. Treat them as starting points for a conversation about your own brief.

During concept review, check the stall from the approaches visitors will actually use. Can someone recognise your brand at a distance? Is the key product visible? Does the welcome desk help a visitor enter? Resolve these questions alongside the graphic hierarchy, lighting, furniture and practical storage needs before production drawings are developed.

03

Coordinate the build around your show

Mumbai exhibition projects need a programme built around organiser approvals, production, transport, installation and handover. Requirements vary by event and venue. The current exhibitor manual should guide structural detailing, electrical coordination, documentation and the permitted installation window; approval is never assumed from a previous show.

Lumian’s scope can cover fabrication, branding, AV, logistics, installation and dismantling. Confirm which items are included in your proposal and who supplies event services. Our process moves through brief, concept, detail, build and showtime, with decisions documented so your team knows what is approved and what remains open.

  • Send the show name, dates, venue and allocated floor plan.
  • List display products, demonstration needs and the number of staff.
  • Share brand files, an intended budget and the main visitor action.
  • Identify one person who can consolidate approvals and feedback.

Before you begin

Practical questions.

When should we begin a Mumbai exhibition stall project?
Six to eight weeks is a useful starting point for a custom stall. Complex pavilions or specialist equipment can require longer. Share your actual deadline so the team can assess the achievable scope.
Can the Mumbai team support an exhibition in another city?
Lumian designs centrally and supports execution across major exhibition destinations in India through its production and on-ground partner network. Confirm the location and delivery scope in the project proposal.
